All In, or the Peace of Souls

Delta Produkció undertakes a peculiar experiment: we invited two renowned stage authors to explore the themes of generational conflicts, similarities, and differences. The result is two thoroughly contemporary Hungarian one-act plays, intertwined under the direction of Tamás Keresztes, telling a story about whether we can communicate with each other when socialized according to completely different patterns. "No immortal soul can rest in Heaven as long as lecsó sausage is put into Jókai bean soup in the Rózsakert of Csepel. Therefore, the Lord sends three angels to resolve this delicate matter. And since they are already on Earth, they also bring along a mysterious little box. This is how the parallel stories of fathers and sons begin, which, as usual, are unpredictably complicated by the girls." /Gábor Németh/ "The good thing about watching the Sunday afternoon match is that you can love each other a little in the meantime. You eat the sausage and almost forget that your son is not at all what he should be. You drink the beer and don’t even think that your father is incapable of accepting your difference. You shout at the referee, your striker misses all the chances, and for a few hours, it feels as if there is no complete chaos in the world. But sometimes Sunday turns out so that the sausage dips into the mustard. And then you have to say what you realized when you once put on a woman’s panties on your face long ago. And you also have to clarify who is actually daddy’s favorite in this family. Oh, and there is this tick.
