In the Folly Arboretum, an evening guided garden walk enhanced with light painting awaits visitors, where they can learn about the garden's rare plants and artworks. During the program, special light shows bring trees and statues to life at eight locations.
From now on, darkness no longer needs to hold us back from visiting the garden; let's explore the evening arboretum together! This light painting garden walk is an excellent opportunity, during which a tour guide tells stories at the locations involved in the light painting. The Folly Light Painting & Moonlight Tour guided garden walk is valid with the purchase of an arboretum entrance ticket. The price of the guided garden walk is 1,900 HUF/person in addition to the entrance fee. In the Folly Arboretum area, you can encounter spectacular light shows in many places after sunset. Thanks to the varied colors and light animations, plants, the garden's iconic trees, and outdoor artworks and spatial elements come to life at a total of 8 locations. For example, the lighting of the welcome stone and the Ancestors' statue has been renewed, and special surprises await in the light effects visible on the foliage of the Himalayan cedars above the central reception area or on the Peace to You statue. We want as many visitors as possible to get to know the garden and its rare plants. Our colleagues' garden knowledge and expertise guarantee that we provide useful and interesting information to our guests. The group size is limited due to quality service and the design of the walking paths. General information about the garden walks: - Duration: 60 minutes - Starting point: Kisház - Please arrive at the location 10 minutes before departure - The price of the Folly Light Painting guided garden walk is 1,900 HUF/person in addition to the entrance fee - A maximum of 20 people can participate in each program - Comfortable hiking shoes are recommended - Participation in the walk is at your own risk If you want to see the arboretum in daylight as well, it is worth arriving at least 30-40 minutes before the program starts.
