Murci Hiking Tour

For one day, we break away from everyday life and follow the path through the vineyards. We walk from Farkó-kő towards Balatonszőlős, stop at the Nyerges and Penke vineyards, then return to where we started. Along the way, we taste, chat, rest, and look at the landscape where our wines are born from a slightly different perspective. An autumn day among the vineyards, with murci, wines, and good company. In October, we set out on a hiking tour again: we explore the Farkó-kő, Nyerges, and Penke vineyards, stopping for a glass of murci, six Zelna wines, and some bites. 8.5 kilometers, three vineyards, two settlements, and a shared day among the vines. The tour date is Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a rain date on Sunday, October 4. Gathering at 10:00, departure at 10:30 from the parking lot at the bottom of the Farkó-kő vineyard. The distance is 8.5 km, duration about 4 hours. The Murci Hiking Tour takes place in the post-harvest period when the vineyards switch to the rhythm of autumn and the first fresh murci is born from the grapes. The tour is about the landscape, the vineyards, and the wines that preserve the story of each vineyard. Starting from murci, moving from vineyard to vineyard, we follow the world of Zelna wines until the last glass of the day. The tour is ideal for those who love wine but would rather get to know its story in the vineyard, are looking for a light, shared program for autumn, enjoy walking in nature, and are interested in the connections between wines and vineyards. Transfer can be requested if needed. After purchasing tickets, participants are added to the guest list. Ticket cancellations are possible with a refund or rescheduling at least 7 days before the event; later only rescheduling is possible depending on available spots. During the tour, we taste murci and six wines: Welcome – Murci, Farkó-kő Olaszrizling, Optimist Cuvée, Nyerges Olaszrizling, Penke Pinot Gris, Zweigelt, Füred Kékfrankos, and participants also receive scones and fruit.
