Existence – From the River to the Ocean - dance theatre

EXISTENCE is a tango dance theatre creation that traces the path of human life – from the rushing momentum of youth to the quiet insight of old age. This journey is born in tango, in the intimacy of the embrace, through the deep connection of soul and body. The piece is not the story of one person. It is the story of all of us – who carry the same questions in different forms. In the movements, individual destinies merge, and the shared human experience emerges: searching, meeting, parting, understanding. In this performance, tango is a walk between souls. Moving together, listening together, carrying the weight together – this is true connection. The embrace is the oldest gesture: it protects, lifts, reflects. On stage it returns again and again, in different forms, with different characters – yet it remains the same: the embodiment of human unity. As time progresses, the movement becomes purified. After the storms of youth comes understanding, then calmness. Time does not take away – it layers upon us, from which wisdom arises. In the end, we no longer want to possess, we do not want answers – only to be. EXISTENCE does not provide a story. It holds up a mirror. The viewer sees themselves in it – as a child, lover, seeker, learner, then accepter.
