Európa Kiadó is back in Balatonboglár! Founded in the early 1980s around guitarist-singer-director Jenő Menyhárt, the story of Európa Kiadó is not a conventional band history. It operated in various line-ups during different periods, expressing and re-expressing itself along different narratives. These imprints are preserved in the band's albums and recordings: Love ’82, Jó lesz ’84, Popzene, Szavazz rám, Itt kísértünk – Love ’92, Annak is kell, …Valahol lenni…, and Nincs kontroll. Their latest album, released in early 2026, is titled Könnyedén Vett Apokalipszis, featuring both old and new Európa Kiadó songs for fans to enjoy. Over time, Európa Kiadó has managed to renew itself repeatedly without ever becoming part of the mainstream, consistently preserving its unique style, independent spirit, and contemporaneity throughout its existence. During its more than 30 years of existence, the band has operated in numerous emblematic line-ups; currently, alongside Jenő Menyhárt, the members are János Bujdosó, András Kálmán, Attila Herr, and Lajos Gyenge.
