The play is about six women from different backgrounds who seemingly have nothing in common, yet they all sign up for the same confidence-boosting pole dancing course – but it soon becomes clear that they didn’t come just for the sexy moves. During their encounters, friendships are formed, secrets come to light, and the women gradually accept and come to love their own bodies. Driven by a bold, daring idea, they decide to shed their inhibitions for charity… and their clothes as well. The comedy is witty and liberating – about self-acceptance, the power of female solidarity, and how sometimes the greatest challenge is to strip down – both emotionally and literally.
