Margó Literary Festival, concerts: Brumiko, LOVASI: The Most Important Hungarian Words

LOVASI András has been the author, lyricist, singer, and instrumental contributor of more than 350 released songs since the founding of Kispál és a Borz in 1987. His oeuvre is characterized by continuous renewal and instinctive construction: while he plays bass guitar as the singer of Kispál és a Borz, in Kiscsillag, founded in 2005, he appears as a guitarist, and in the shows built around his three solo albums, he typically plays acoustic guitar. The performer, active in various band formations, draws from the 38 years of songs in his "solo guitar" show: Kispál classics appear in a "campfire" style, Kiscsillag songs are performed, and the songs from the three LOVASI solo albums receive great emphasis. LOVASI's songs and lyrics have a significant influence on many contemporary Hungarian pop music composers. His new "solo guitar" show presented at the Városmajor Open-Air Stage is titled The Most Important Hungarian Words and is much more lyric-focused than a band concert; moreover, the author likes to tell very personal stories about the creation of the songs, with much humor. LOVASI is currently part of several productions as a frontman and continues to produce songs. New compositions are usually first heard by the audience in the Egy az egybe… solo show. The next stop of the 15th anniversary season of Margó is Salföld and the Bánya Kert: three days of literature, music, and a summer feeling of freedom. Beck@Grecsó, Lovasi András, Anima Sound System, Tompa Andrea, Háy János, Kemény Zsófi, Fehér Boldizsár, Jehan Paumero, Fábián Tamás, and Tóth Marcsi will also perform between August 13–15 at the Summer Margó Literary Festival.
