Szürkebarát Duel - Wine Tasting with Cultural Programs

The Badacsony Tourism and Wine Route Association, together with the local municipalities of the wine region and its members, develops local tourism, which has resulted in a four-season destination offering year-round open and quality services, colorful seasonal programs, renovated beaches, and exciting visitor attractions. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘇𝘂̈𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮́𝘁! Szürkebarát always tells the story of the region it comes from and the people who dream of very different wines from the same grape. Many know its name, but few know all its faces. The Szürkebarát duel is not a competition but rather a meeting of flavors, methods, styles, wine regions, traditions, and innovations. We help navigate this diversity so that together we can discover and get to know the values of Szürkebarát. 28 wineries bring their own Szürkebarát from the Carpathian Basin. Of these, 14 are from Badacsony, as Szürkebarát in Badacsony is not just a grape variety but has history, tradition, and culture.
