Lekvárherceg and Szunyog Tess

The two performers will bring their joint concert to Bánya on August 5! Lekvárherceg is one of the cheeky faces of the Hungarian underground: he strikes where it matters and says what others rather swallow. His music blends humor, raw reality, and a unique style that is hard to compare to anyone else. He is not driven by hype but by the desire to leave a lasting mark—well, and of course, it would be nice to earn some money too, hellooooo. At Bánya, we do not deprive him of this noble goal. He plays by his own rules—and that’s exactly what makes him different. Elek Zsolt, who creates under the name Szunyog Tess, fills multiple roles in his one-man project: he is the rapper, singer, and often the producer of the band. His songs are characterized by laid-back, couch-sinking hip-hop rhythms, and the key to his performer appeal is the naturalness and ease with which he delivers them. His primary motivation in making music is to honestly express his feelings and thoughts, all in a form that is entertaining for him as well. His goal is to be a leading figure in intelligent and quality light music in Hungary.
