A candlelight concert in the park of Festetics Castle in Keszthely. An evening that weaves the passion of the Mediterranean world, the pulsation of the gentle waves of the Italian and Spanish coasts, the vibrancy of the hot nights of Buenos Aires, and the masterful elegance of the Baroque. A world of legends, passions, loves, and extraordinary destinies unfolds in the special atmosphere of a magical castle park, illuminated by the golden glow of thousands of candles. At the center of the concert is the red-haired genius Antonio Vivaldi and the timeless Four Seasons. SPRING is playful, light, full of hope. The air fills with freshness, nature slowly awakens, the sound of birds flies along with the melodies. Then suddenly everything speeds up. The air becomes tense, the sun scorches, passions intensify. The real SUMMER burns, pulses, stirs storms – hot, unpredictable, unstoppable. AUTUMN is the music of golden lights, fulfillment, and letting go. It is both festive and contemplative: it contains the joy of harvest, wine, and dance, but nostalgia also lurks there – that peculiar feeling when we know something is truly beautiful because it is fleeting. With the arrival of WINTER, the sounds clear and beneath the snow-covered landscape lies the metaphorical deep layer of old age, which smiles serenely at us from beside the fireplace with its timeless advice, even from 300 years away. We bring physical and spiritual cleansing through Massenet’s Thais Meditation, which is the most beautiful inner transformation in music literature, naturally soaked with the most magical melodies. And finally… we find ourselves in a real Mediterranean wedding! De Falla’s opera 'La Vida Breve' brings all the joys and complications of weddings: romance, intrigue, tears, and laughter – what will be the end? Everything will be revealed at the concert.
