Lavender Day – the celebration of blooming lavender On June 27, we invite you again to Lavender Day in Dörgicse, during the most beautiful period of lavender blooming. When the scent of lavender fills the hillsides of Dörgicse and summer reveals its full beauty, the Levendárium also comes alive. On this special day, everything is about lavender, nature, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Blooming lavenders, roses, and medicinal herbs, inspiring lectures, craft experiences, music, garden walks, and numerous lavender programs await visitors. Families are also welcomed by the playable area and nature-close experiences of the Levendárium. Spend one of the most fragrant days of summer with us in the heart of the Balaton Uplands! Programs: 10:00 Gate opening 10:00–18:00 Lavender Pick Your Own! Among fragrant rows in the picturesque Aszó vineyard, enjoy every moment of summer with a stunning Balaton panorama. 10:30 Rocking musical experience for kids and adults – singing together, rhymes, and games led by Dóra Vilola Szántó. 11:30 Lunch/picnic – vegetarian cuisine with seasonal dishes, fresh homemade sourdough bread, vegetable creams, one-pot meals, homemade pastries, refreshments, and lavender specialties. 13:00 “Secrets of our garden” – guided tour in the Levendárium garden, presentation of lavender varieties, cultivation, ecological care, roses, and medicinal herbs. 14:00 Lavender visual distillation – demonstration of traditional copper pot distillation, learning about the production of fragrant floral water and essential oil. 14:00 Wicker weaving demonstration and learning basic techniques. 14:30 Informal conversation with Dr. Zsolt Jurasits about the history, philosophy, and ideas of the Levendárium. 15:30 Lecture on the wonders contained in Dörgicse lavender essential oil and floral water, organic lavender cultivation and processing. 17:00 Closing concert – under organization. The Levendárium organic shop is open from 10 am to 8 pm, where handcrafted products from the organic farm can be purchased. Ticket prices: adult: 4500 HUF, student, pensioner: 3500 HUF, family (2 parents and 2 minor children): 12000 HUF, each additional child: 1000 HUF, afternoon (from 1 pm): 3000 HUF. Tickets can only be purchased on-site. The wristband must be worn visibly throughout the day. In case of bad weather, the program may change. Pets are not allowed at the event or in the demonstration garden. Photo and audio recordings will be made during the event. We reserve the right to change the program!
