Analog Balaton

The concert is realized with the support of the National Cultural Fund (https://nka.hu/) and the Hangfoglaló Program (https://hangfoglalo.hu/). https://www.analogbalaton.hu/ Zsuffa Aba and Vörös Ákos duo, that is Analog Balaton, was formed in 2017 in Budapest. They are considered one of the most exciting bands in the country and have also performed as opening acts for Bonobo, Weval, and Bob Moses. The formation's sound has been based on acoustic guitar music and darker-toned, pulsating electronics from the beginning. Their career development is special in several respects. They had no recorded songs yet when they were already giving sold-out live-act shows across the country. Analog Balaton, increasingly emerging from the domestic underground circles, finally released their first album in 2021. The nine-track album titled 'Lent' remained faithful to the initial improvisational, monotonous electronic style, while already characterized by very strong lyricism. The album tells stories of scattered nights, languid mornings, and lonely melancholy, and the sincere lines immediately hit home; 'Lent' was a unanimous success among professionals and audiences alike. The album debuted almost sold out at Akvárium Nagy Hall, and all tickets for their a38 ship concert sold out well before the announced date. In 2022, there was no festival without Analog Balaton, and in the same year, their next single 'Csússz le' was released featuring collaborators like Szendrői Csaba (Elefánt) and 6363 (Gege). Also in that year, they won the Petőfi Music Award for Electronic Performer of the Year, receiving deserved recognition for their outstanding work in the electronic music scene. Zsuffa Aba and Vörös Ákos did not slow down in 2023 either; after their nationwide tour, they performed at the country's largest open-air venue, Budapest Park, appeared on András Hajós's show Dalfutár, and at the end of the year, they won the Music Hungary Showtime Award, topping it off with a double sold-out Akvárium Nagyhall concert. Since then, the album 'Repedés' has been released, followed by a sold-out album launch at Barba Negra. They closed the year with a double sold-out concert at the House of Hungarian Music. The year 2025 was also exciting for the Analog Balaton duo, who performed not only at Budapest Park but also at the biggest festivals, bringing new sounds and feelings to their audience.
