The Rose and Lavender Day at Levendárium in Dörgicse is a full-day family program where visitors can enjoy meditation, crafts, and musical experiences among blooming roses and medicinal herbs. The program includes singing bowl bath, guided garden tours, lectures, and children’s activities.
When the roses show their most beautiful face, Levendárium dresses in a special atmosphere. We warmly welcome our guests to Dörgicse for a full-day celebration where the scent of blooming roses, the diversity of medicinal herbs, and the harmony of nature meet. At the peak of flowering, the Monastery Garden reveals itself in full splendor: our Damascus and Saint Elizabeth of Árpád House roses, as well as our collection of medicinal herbs and places inviting contemplation, together offer a unique experience for visitors. Wandering among the renewed and expanded accessible areas from last year, the environment filled with scents, colors, and summer light provides true refreshment. Rose Day welcomes everyone with varied programs throughout the day, inspiring encounters, and moments celebrating the beauties of nature. Programs: 10:30 Singing Bowl Bath – morning meditation: a relaxing, harmonizing, and refreshing experience for body and soul, leaders: Andrea Weichinger and Laura Márkus. Yoga mat and comfortable clothing recommended. 11:30 Lunch / picnic: vegetarian, rose-inspired dishes from the kitchen of Dörgicse Lavender Farm, resting in a peaceful garden. 13:00 “Secrets of Our Garden” – guided garden tour with special rose varieties and medicinal herbs. 14:00 Informal conversation with Dr. Zsolt Jurasits about the history and philosophy of Levendárium. 14:00 Basket weaving demonstration and learning basic techniques. 14:45 Product presentation: introduction of Levendárium’s organic cosmetic rose product line, with opportunities to try. 15:30 Rose in the organic garden – lecture by Domokos Szász on chemical-free rose care, biodiverse perennial beds, natural pest and disease prevention. 17:00 Ringató – musical experience for kids and adults, with communal singing and games, leader: Fanni Sánta. 18:00 Dóraviola Sound World – musical experience with folk motifs, original compositions, and set-to-music poems, an inner journey through sounds and silence. From 11:00 to 16:00, crafts and children’s activities for ages 3–14, with a nature-close playground. Ticket prices: adult 4500 HUF, student and pensioner 3500 HUF, family ticket (2 parents + 2 minor children) 12000 HUF, each additional child 1000 HUF, afternoon ticket (from 1 PM) 3000 HUF. Tickets can only be purchased on-site. Wristbands must be worn visibly throughout the day. In case of bad weather, the program may change. Pets are not allowed. Photo and audio recordings will be made during the event. We reserve the right to change the program.
