Szent György-hegy Hajnalig is a multi-day gastronomic and music festival on the vineyard hill of the Balaton Uplands, where open cellars, concerts, and DJ sets await visitors. The programs include a musical procession, wine tastings, exhibitions, and a nighttime light show.
Let's start the summer together! Multiple locations, multiple programs, more magic. On June 6th, the hill and Szent György-hegy HAJNALIG await you again! This year, on the beautiful vineyard hill of the Balaton Uplands, we are preparing with more locations and programs than ever before. Open cellars, secret gardens, old favorites and new venues, festival-opening musical procession, concerts, DJ sets, exhibitions, volcanic wines, natural wineries, and exciting bites await you, and after sunset, the hill will be illuminated again. Additional days and programs: June 5 Friday and June 7 Sunday. Programs: 25 locations, concerts, wine tastings, exhibitions, DJs. At night, important sections and paths of the hill are bathed in colorful lights. On Saturday at 3 PM, a musical procession starts from Szászi Birtok to the Lengyel chapel, where participants receive a glass. The ticket includes a unique glass, map, and program booklet, as well as conversation starter cards with exciting questions. The event lasts several days, with concerts and open cellars on Friday, trail running race on Saturday, brunch and daytime disco at Gilvesy B-plant on Sunday. Additional locations 11:00-16:00: Jakab Pince, Gilvesy B-plant, Kisapáti Udvar, Zsili Lab, El Valle Grande Ranch, Hegymagasi Marhaságok. Transportation: Regular hill buses depart from Ábrahámhegy, Kisapáti/Nemesgulács and back, ticket prices 1500-2000 HUF. Official taxis and several taxi providers are available. Arrival and departure are the responsibility of guests; it is advisable to plan ahead. Ticket pickup points: You can exchange your purchased ticket for a valid wristband and glass at the glass points, where you also receive a map and WHO Cards conversation cards. Glass points opening hours: Main entrances (Hóbor Pince, Pál Pince, Boksay Pince) 12:00-22:30, Gilvesy B-plant 11:00-16:00, Palkó Zsolt Pincéje 12:00-23:00, Zöldülő Terasz 12:00-22:30, Horváth Pince 12:00-23:00. Closed sections: You can walk up to the closed sections above the ticket control points with a valid ticket; cars are only allowed for destination traffic, residents, and workers on the hill. The event is only accessible with a purchased ticket; participation requires a valid wristband, which security staff may check at any time. The organizers reserve the right to change the program.
