A task that seems simple yet is difficult: the musician plays, the singer sings – without compromises. My standards have always been high. I had serious expectations for my future stage partners: I was looking for highly skilled, well-presented musicians who are not only masters of their instruments but also true team players. Partners with whom it is a joy to stand on stage together, to travel together, and with whom many band rehearsals are inspiring joint work. After several member changes, the current formation was created, in which one of my old, secret wishes also came true: most of the band members are highly trained, talented young musicians. Besides their outstanding abilities, Dolly Roll Plussz is made up of a cheerful, music-loving, humor-endowed group. I couldn’t imagine a better team. My excellent singing partner is Tamás Palcsó, with whom we jointly bring the energetic, live concerts of Dolly Roll Plussz to the stage. The band’s repertoire includes the biggest hits of Hungária – including Isztambul, Rumba ABC, Micsoda buli, Ciao Marina, Meghalok, hogyha rám nézel – as well as the well-known, iconic songs of Dolly Roll, like Elpattant egy húr or Vakáció. Alongside songs already loved by the audience, we refresh our highly successful concerts with new compositions. Of course, the old hits are rearranged and performed with a modern, contemporary sound, preserving the original songs’ atmosphere and energy, while providing a fresh, live concert experience for all ages. The mood is warmed up before the concert by DJ Dominique’s warm-up set!
