The 33rd edition of Gizella Napok 2026 will be held from May 4 to 10! Veszprém's largest multidisciplinary arts festival once again welcomes visitors with a multitude of free visual arts, music, family, gastronomic, and literary programs. The free concerts will feature performances by Punnany Massif, Anna and the Barbies, and Hősök. Every May, Veszprém commemorates Blessed Gizella, the Bavarian-born wife of King Saint Stephen, around her name day. In recent years, Gizella Napok has expanded to a full week, entertaining audiences with more than 50 free programs across 20 venues. Combining a thousand-year historical tradition with contemporary experiential programs, the week-long Gizella Napok is a true celebration in Veszprém's life! The program includes concerts, visual arts exhibitions, family and gastronomic events, as well as literary programs. The event takes place at multiple locations in downtown Veszprém. Among the 2026 programs, on May 8 and 9, performers will appear on several stages, including Csaknekedkislány, Bohemian Betyars, Anna and the Barbies, Punnany Massif, Hősök, Swing à la Django, Soulwave, and many others.
