The 33rd Gizella Days will be held from May 4-10, 2026! Veszprém's largest multidisciplinary arts festival once again welcomes visitors with a multitude of free visual arts, music, family, gastronomic, and literary programs. Free concerts will feature Punnany Massif, Anna and the Barbies, and Hősök. Every May, Veszprém commemorates Blessed Gizella, the Bavarian-born wife of King Saint Stephen, around Gizella's name day. In recent years, the Gizella Days have expanded to a full week, with more than 50 free programs at 20 venues entertaining the audience. Combining a thousand-year historical tradition with contemporary experience programs, the week-long Gizella Days is a true celebration in Veszprém's life! The programs include concerts, visual arts exhibitions, family and gastronomic events, as well as literary programs. The event venues are located at multiple points in downtown Veszprém, thus involving the entire city in the festival. The 2026 program features concerts on multiple stages on May 8 and 9, with performances by Csaknekedkislány, Bohemian Betyars, Mehringer, Swing à la Django, Soulwave, Anna and the Barbies, Hangár All Stars, Bodor Áron, Czaffy, Fiúk, Hősök, Punnany Massif, Kéknyúl, Lóci játszik, ABBA Tribute Show, The Bluesberry Band, LGT Memorial Band, and Hollywoodoo.
