Co Lee

With relentless honesty and visceral stage genius, Co Lee has become an indispensable performer and taste-shaping figure in the domestic scene over recent years. His extremely diverse discography is reflected in a unique show experience and unparalleled musicianship at every concert. His innovative linguistic, musical, and production solutions – for example, presenting his latest album, Gadara, standing on the peak of a mountain built inside Müpa's main hall – repeatedly broaden the horizon of domestic performing arts. His band, composed of outstanding figures from the domestic music scene – Klausz Ádi, Kálmán András, Varga Dani, Doór Matyi, Aminon, and Indigo – expanded further in the summer of 2025: the Big Band lineup presented on the Sziget Revolut stage included a choir of three London vocalists and featured Austrian Hammond phenomenon Raphael Wressnig, creating an ethereal sound. The Live Band has proven countless times as one of the highest quality musical productions in Hungary that it attracts and captivates audiences at renowned domestic festivals and the biggest Hungarian stages. In 2023, his first Hungarian-language debut album, ‘Cirque de L'Homme’, featuring artists such as Beton.Hofi, Kolibri, and gyuris, was a great success and immediately went gold. This was followed in spring 2024 by the ‘PROGRAM’, co-written with Doór Matyi. His third Hungarian-language studio album, ‘La Promenade’, also co-written with Blaize, was released in September 2024, receiving widespread critical acclaim and quickly achieving gold status. The album and the unique concert show debuted with sold-out double album release shows at the Akvárium main hall. In 2025, La Promenade won the Fonogram – Hungarian Music Award for Domestic Rap/Hip-Hop Album or Recording of the Year. It also received the WMMD Digital Music Award for "Release Strategy Best Practice". Currently, he is working on the Hungarian-language continuation of his English-language lo-fi hip-hop album Air, expected to arrive in spring 2026.
